Opportunities To Serve
  • TCW (Travel - Canvass - Witness) allow you to share your faith with others while getting away from the Minnesota weather during your spring break.  Cost of air-fair is covered by WELS Kingdom Workers and the host congregation will provide housing and food for you.
  • You can be an officer and help plan activities for the Beacon.  Find out who the current officers are, and what they do on the student officers page.
  • Are you the king of casserole, the queen of quiche, the prince of pasta, or the duchess of dessert?  Prove it on Thursday night by preparing a meal for your fellow students.  You will be reimbursed for the cost of the food.
  • Put your faith into action by helping out the Jesus cares ministry.  This unique mission provides an opportunity for students to share God's love with people who have special needs.  Contact Michael Hennig with any questions or concerns you might have.
  • Don't let your God-given gift of playing the piano go to waste.  Sign up to play piano for a weekly vespers service.
  • The Youth Lock-in is one of the main fund raisers for the Beacon.  It involves supervising 4th through 8th graders through Friday night and a good portion of Saturday morning at the Lake Crystal Recreation Center.
  • Help keep the Beacon student center clean by volunteering with spring and fall clean-up.
